Rampini Carlo Spa

With a history that began in 1945, Rampini is a leader in the design and manufacture of special vehicles and city buses with special characteristics (diesel, electric, hydrogen).

These are complemented by the design and production of high-tech equipment for specific tasks: frames for special uses, vehicles for mobile production, vehicles for satellite broadcasting, special equipment for the armed forces, levelling systems and much more.

Constant growth from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective has led Rampini to become one of the most important manufacturing companies in its territory.

The facility in Passignano sul Trasimeno, in the province of Perugia, currently occupies a total of 80,000 square meters, 13,000 of which are covered.

Many satellite companies, under the strict and careful control of the parent company, significantly expand the production capacity of Rampini.

A great deal of energy is dedicated to the post-production phase: every product comes with detailed use and maintenance manuals; training courses are provided at various levels; the supply of spare parts is guaranteed for the lifetime of the product;  the presence of support centres for Rampini’s products is ensured both in Italy and abroad.

Services

The design and engineering of all products, vehicles and most of its components, is carried out by our specialised technical office that can also develop special projects in collaboration with universities and computer centres.

The design office can operate in different fields:

• Mechanical Design
• Design of electro-hydraulic systems
• Design of electrical / electronic systems

The design capacity, the attention to constant innovation, the cutting-edge technology, combined with the use of specific test benches and strict product tests, make Rampini a reliable partner.

The production plant is divided into three main divisions: carpentry, machine tools, assembly. The production makes use of laser systems for sheet metal cutting, a chain coating plant, lathes, milling machines and CNC machining centres.

The highly qualified staff manufacture oil-hydraulic, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and electronic systems.
