Umbria Aerospace Systems

Umbria Aerospace Systems is an Italian aerospace company founded in 2014 which stemmed from the union of two previously established companies, Umbria Electronic Systems and Umbria Aerospace Technologies. After nearly three years of operation, UAS is already positioned in the international aerospace market with several applications on national, European and Asian projects.

UAS specialises in providing “plug-and-play” actuation systems, designed and manufactured according to client specifications.

UAS systems are of the electro-hydraulic or electromechanical type, supported and governed by electronic control and relative software.

Their application ranges from flight surface control to braking systems, landing gear actuation, loading ramps and door activation, hydraulic power generation, etc. UAS strategy is to pursue the development of its skills through a continuous activity of R&D for the application of new technologies and processes that allow intercepting the needs of a continuously evolving aerospace market.
