Claudio Becchetti was born in Assisi (PG) on 17 April 1966. He began his career in the mechanical engineering sector at a young age, developing solid technical expertise directly in the field in production processes and operational management, which would later form the foundation of his entrepreneurial path.

In 1987, he founded CO.ME.AR., a company specialising in the production of complex, high-precision mechanical components for the aerospace and industrial sectors, where he is still CEO and shareholder. Under his leadership, thanks to a strong focus on quality, technological innovation and specialisation in increasingly complex and critical products, the company has grown steadily, establishing itself internationally as a qualified partner and key subcontractor for leading OEMs and Tier 1 companies in the aerospace sector, producing custom-designed mechanical components for the most critical flight systems.

In 1994, he founded B.S.P., a highly specialised manufacturing company supplying precision components for bearings, where he is still CEO and shareholder. Today, the company is a benchmark in the production of components for high-performance special bearings, working with leading global manufacturers operating in the industrial, energy, aerospace and railway sectors.

Through the industrial and entrepreneurial path developed with his companies, Claudio Becchetti has consolidated significant experience in industrial management, the development of partnerships in international markets and the coordination of complex production organisations.

Over the course of his career, he has held corporate positions in several industrial companies, including EMS – Electro Motor Solutions, a company active in the development of electric motors and electromagnetic brakes, and MECOM S.r.l., where he is still Chairman of the Board of Directors and shareholder. He also served for several years as General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of FARO Industriale S.r.l., contributing to the strengthening of the production and organisational capabilities of the companies involved.

In 2023, replacing the outgoing shareholder, UMBRAGROUP joined the corporate structure of CO.ME.AR. and B.S.P.; at the same time, Claudio Becchetti became a member of the Board of Directors of UMBRAGROUP.

He is also involved in further strategic initiatives of the Group, including UED – Umbra Electrospindles & Devices, a company founded in 2025, of which he is also a shareholder, focused on advanced solutions for the production and repair of electrospindles.
